ME-144 ~ 12 ft Wide Series

Modular Enclosures are offered in five width’s with curved roofs & four widths with peak roofs. The curve roof models are typically shipped in one piece, 4’, 6’, 8’, 10’, & 12’ wide with heights up to 11’ and any length while the peak roof models are shipped in two halves, 14’, 16’, 18’ & 24’ wide. The length and height are typically governed by freight constraints.

Utilities use the modular enclosure to retrofit substations with SCADA equipment, battery enclosures, or covering up existing gear. The flexibility in size, door location, type of equipment included, and the lightweight nature of fiberglass makes Modular Enclosures easy to fit into existing substations as well as new installations. The enclosures are used industrial market to cover up all types of equipment such as engine generators, motor control centers, pumps, high voltage equipment, etc. They are very competitive with mild sheet and can be insulated or not depending on the application.

Modular Enclosure selling points are the flexibility in size, door location, type of equipment included, and the lightweight nature of fiberglass. The fiberglass laminate is guaranteed against degradation of strength under normal use and service for a period of twenty-five (25) years. Maintenance is basically eliminated, and damage can be repaired in the field. Additional options are available on request.

      • Design versatility in 4’, 6’, 8’, 10’ & 12’ widths and a variety of lengths & heights
      • Strong, light weight, corrosion free, & fire retardant 1/4” fiberglass construction
      • UV stabilized gel coat to protect structural integrity
      • Internal seams are bolted and sealed for strength and water integrity
      • Variety of foam insulation options with R-values ranging from R-17 through to R-31 are available
      • Variety fiberglass door sizes and configuration all with stainless steel jamb, 3-point latch with padlocking provisions, and SS rain shield are available. Panic hardware available as an option.
      • Lift-off design with lifting eyes allows modular enclosure to be easy installed and removed without disturbing enclosed equipment
      • Special equipment such as HVAC package; heaters; electrical packages including AC & DC distribution panels; lighting electrical packages; cable trays & wire-ways; hazardous location equipment; ventilation packages; SS rain guards & awning; skid bases etc. can be installed at the factory
      • Special custom options such as windows, skylights, & roof hatches; sound attenuation; equipment mounting panels, partition walls; skid base & free-standing galv. equipment frames; floors & containment floors; fiberglass conduct entry enclosure are available
      • Available in Light Grey & Willow Green colors. Special colors are available.
      • Optional structural design calculations stamped by professional engineer with the appropriate registration
